Malk, Gabrielle, and some unhappy hipsters

A couple of random funny things I’ve stumbled across recently…
FIRST UP…
A website called Unhappy Hipsters that weds oddly appropriate captions to the oddly bleak and lonely photos that decorate hip lifestyle magazines.
Among my favorites:
Lying on his back, watching the passing clouds, he worried over the Nathaniel Hawthorne lookalike’s role in this grim threesome.
The octopus was full of judgment.
And one day, a ladder appeared. Julien climbed with guarded optimism; could this be the way out for which he’d been searching all these weeks?
You’ll have to visit the actual site to see the photos that prompted these gems. (I can’t put any up here; technical issues and lack of time.)
NEXT (AND LAST, BUT NOT LEAST)
The YouTube channel of a dude named Julian Smith (he calls it “I made this for you“). Some of the videos are more “huh?” than “ha!”, but it’s obvious Julian & co. know what they’re doing with the camera, and the best of their offerings are brilliant.
Like this one, called “Malk”:
If you liked “Malk,” check out Gabrielle in LA. (Which I’ve linked to because I can’t make Wordpress embed two videos in the same post.)
And if you liked that, then you probably should check out Julian’s YouTube channel.
AND THAT IS ALL
You can stop laughing now.
