I call this place Blog Ing because to most of my friends and some of my family, I am Ing. And I have a blog. So I am now blogging. On Blog Ing. (Hahaha! Oh, such a clever name.)
Uh, okay. I guess this is where I say something about who I am and why I’m blogging. So, in a nutshell…
I’m blogging because I kind of felt like it one day — besides which, half the people I knew were already doing it — and then found out I liked it. I love writing, and I’m kind of an opinionated bastard, so put those two things together, and you have a recipe for blogging.
As for who I am, you’re going to have to guess at that one (or do some research; nothing is all that secret on the internet). I’m fine with putting some of my opinions out there for everyone to see, but I don’t feel like hanging my digital underwear out in public, and I’m not the social sort. No tell-all MySpace page or gargantuan friend list for Ing. But here’s a little bit to go on. I’m in my mid-thirties, married, with two kids (herein referred to as the Young Lad and the Little Lass), I grew up in Utah, and I live in a small university town in the Pacific Northwest, where (along with half the people in town) I work for the university.
And that’s enough about me. (Dunno about you, but I’m kinda bored with this “about” crap; I like to think the rest of my blog is better than this.)
